Run your support of People with Disabilities on July 21, 2018Directions
July 26, 2018 will mark the 28th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Communities across America will be holding events for the occassion, and on Saturday, July 21st our organization, supporters, and sponsors will honor the Anniversary by holding the 17th Annual ADA Memorial. Come with friends & family an run in the 5k, 10k, or walk a mile to show your support and celebrate the ocassion and the abilities of people with disabilities.
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) gives civil rights protections to individuals with disabilities similar to those provided to individuals on the basis of race, sex, national origin, and religion. It guarantees equal opportunity in employment, public accommodations, transportation, State and local government services, and telecommunications.
The proceeds from the ADA Memorial will benefit Access to a Better
Tomorrow, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to
ensure Georgians with disabilities have equal opportunities to enjoy
life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. ABT recognizes that
recreation is essential to happiness, and our organization provides
support to the North
Georgia Screamin' Eagles Power Soccer Club. Please consider download
